Will A. Robberts CA(SA), M.Comm, B.Comm(Hon)
Will is the Founder and CEO of Kempton Advisors where he is responsible for deal origination and leading key assignments.
Before starting Kempton Advisors, Will was the President of LiveNote for six years during which time he built the business into one of the most successful software companies in the litigation software industry, both organically and through acquisition. Having successfully sold the company to Thomson Reuters in 2006, he continued to manage the company until his departure in 2008. Prior to joining LiveNote, Will was a CFO and COO of various subsidiaries for the publicly traded accounting software consolidator, Softline (subsequently bought by Sage Accounting).
Prior to Will’s time as a senior executive he worked as an investment banker for KPMG Corporate Finance. During this time he was part of the prestigious technology team where he completed a number of landmark transactions. It included numerous divestitures, acquisitions and fund raisings as well as the listing of a company on the AIM stock exchange.
Will holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting, an Honors Degree and a Masters Degree in Financial Management from Rand Afrikaans University. He works in a non-executive capacity with numerous senior management teams and serves on the board of the British American Business Counsel and the board of Raphael House in San Francisco.
